There are a number of elements candidates are assessed on during the 180 Excavator >5ton assessment including

1. Prepare the machine for work
2. Travel to the work area
3. Travel up and down slopes
4. Travel through a restriction and over rough ground
5. Prepare and set the excavator for relevant work
6. Produce 2x Straight trenches in a T pattern with square starts and finishes
7. load material into a vehicle
8. Change the buckets
9. Lift a load at min radius extent to 75% or max radius and rotate 180
10. Reinstate the area
11. Park the excavator
