Agricultural Tractor (A33)

 

There are a number of elements candidates are assessed on during the Agricultural Tractor assessment including;

  1. Complete all manufacturers' pre-start and running checks and prepare the Tractor for travel
  2.  With the trailer and mounted implement;
  3. - Travel up and down the slope
  4. - Travel over rough terrain
  5. Additionally with the trailer;
  6.  - Stop and restart on the incline in the up direction
  7. - carryout sharp left and right hand turns
  8. reverse into a confined space
  9. Position and prepare the tractor for all work
  10. Attach thte trailer and carry out activity 2. On completion, disconnect the trailer with the confined area
  11. Attach the 3-point linkage implement and carry out activity 2. On completion disconnect the implement
  12. Connect the PTO Driven implement and run to full speed to ensure correct functioning. On completion, detach the PTO Driveline
  13. Leave all implements, trailers and components safe and secure.
  14.  Park the Tractor and carry out shut-down and securing procedures
