Forward Tipping Dumper (A09)

There are a number of elements candidates are assessed on during the Forward Tipping Dumper assessment including

  1. Prepare the machine for work
  2. In a loaded and unloaded state;
  3. - Travel up and down a slope
  4. - Start and stop on the slope in an uphill direction
  5. - Start and stop on the slope in the downhill direction
  6. - Pass through a chicane executing full left and right turns in the forward and reverse direction
  7. - Travel over rough terrain
  8. - Reverse in a straight line for 30m passing through a restriction at the end of the run
  9. Position the dumper for loading
  10. Receive a load
  11. Discharge the load into the edge or excavation
  12. Form a stockpile
  13. Park the dumper and carry out shutdown procedures
