CSR Health and Safety course

 

 

This Health & Safety CSR Training Course 1 day,  is for all construction skills operatives who need to meet the statutory obligations under Health & Safety in the Construction Industry. All passing this course will receive the appropriate CSR Cert Certification.

 

The course covers the following modules:
  • Health and safety at work legislation
  • Accident reporting and emergency procedure and fire prevention
  • Accident prevention
  • Manual Handling
  • Working at heights
  • Personal protective equipment
  • COSHH, Noise and vibration
  • Working with electricity, underground and overhead services
  • Use of hand-held equipment and tools
  • Safe use of vehicles 
  • Excavations and confined spaces
 The course is classroom based and following completion of this course, applicants must undergo an occupational assessment (non plant cards).
Available Card Colours:

Red -Apprentice Cards or Red Trained Plant Operative
Green - General Construction Operative (GCO)
Blue - Skilled Construction Operative (SCO) or Plant Operative or Scaffolders 
Gold  Card - Craftsmen or Advanced Scaffolders  (Also Supervisors/Foremen can have a Gold Card but this is achieved through a 4 day Supervisor Course)
