The law requires employees to be properly trained on the equipment they use at work. On completion of the course delegates will be issued with a PAL card which is proof that employees have been trained to work at height safely. If height workers cannot show that they have been trained to work at height, they won't be allowed on site.

About the IPAF Training Course

We offer training on Powered Access in the following MEWP categories:-

Category 1A – Static Vertical – Vertical personnel platforms (static)

Category 1B – Static Boom – Self-propelled booms (outriggers), trailers/push-arounds, vehicle   mounted platforms.

Category 3A— MobileVertical Scissor lifts, vertical personnel platforms (mobile)

Category 3B — Mobile BoomSelf-propelled booms 

 A general course will cover two categories in one day (depending on experience); training on additional categories is also available via a further half day to be taken within 12 weeks of the original course.
