We can offer a one day (depending on experience) hedge cutting course in the safe use and operation of a tractor mounted hedge cutter for those operatives that have completed previous tractor training. However we are also able to incorporate the tractor mounted hedge cutter as part of our complete tractor driving course. This ensures that operatives both experienced and novice can leave with the skills required to both operate the tractor and the hedge cutter.

The course covers a number of topics including;

• Pre start checks
• Attachment of machine to tractor
• PTO Safety
• Daily weekly maintenance checks
• Inspection of cutting area (i.e. lifting out rubbish, wire etc)
• Walking area
• Setting out signage
• Correct cutting procedures:
