Our tractor and arm mounted hedge cutter course is carried out to ITSSAR standard and is approved by the CITB. We can also carry out this training to LANTRA standards and a lantra certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the course. The tractor and hedge cutter course covers all the topics in the standard tractor course but includes the following modules in relation to the arm mounted flail hedge cutter;

- Pre start checks
- Attachment of machine to tractor
- PTO Safety
- Daily weekly maintenance checks
- Inspection of cutting area (i.e. lifting out bicycles)
- Walking area
- Setting out signage
- Correct cutting procedures:
   • Correct Procedure for Cutting  Tall Hedges
   • Correct Procedure for Cutting  Grass Verges                                        
   • Correct Procedure for Cutting  Over Hedge                                       
   • Correct Procedure for Topping Hedges
- Emergency Procedures
- Injury Procedures
- Clear Up Procedures
